I am hoping I am reading the question correctly when I reply. The way I am taking this is your baby has the possibility of 1 of 2 different men being the father. It appears one would be completely willing to take a DNA test and the other not so willing. In this case what you could do is ask the one man that would be willing to do a DNA test to go with you and get this done. Fortunately now a days it is just a swab of saliva. When my son was born 13 years ago they took 2-3 vials of blood from both parents and the baby. By using your DNA the babies, and the mans they can determine if he is the father or not. If it comes back that he isn't and if there was only one other person you were with (No offense meant). Then it would be safe to assume that the other gentleman is the father.

If you know for 100% surety, that the father is one of these two men, find out their blood types. If the types are different, compare them to your baby's. If this is the case you just saved yourself a LOT of money, as DNA testing is awfully expensive.

A child's blood type is determined primarily by the father's blood type.

Unfortunately, if you find that both men have the same blood type, a DNA test is the only option. If one of the men agrees to the test, then start with him, if he is negative, then you have your answer. As long as you don't need the DNA evidence for a child support hearing, you're fine.

Yes you can. If you are unsure who the father is and there is only 2 of them that COULD be the father, it is just a process of elimination. If you chose one of them to take the paternity test, if it comes out negative you KNOW the other is the father if that is the only 2 it COULD be. If it is more than that I would have them all tested. You really need to find out who the father is even if he choses not to be a father. You know on down the road if something happens and the baby gets sick and needs a donor the true father would be the one that could help, so you really need to know the truth. Best wishes to you and I hope it is the one you want it to be. :-)

I think the child has the right to know who her/his father is. I think this man can be unselfish for two seconds of getting his mouth swabbed.

Of course you can. This is often done, when the woman knows who the father is but the father wants it proved before he takes any responsibility. Testing one person will, legally, only prove, or paternity of the one who tests. It will not legally prove anything about the one who doesn't take a test.
I'm not sure what you mean by "kill" him. But good luck.

you could but if the second man is the father he would either have to sign voluntary acknowledgement of paternity papers to get out of the test or have the DNA test done
