    No offense, but how would they know who to sue if they’re with multiple partners? I’m sure they probably could sue, but whether they’d win is another story altogether.

    She may need to have several DNA tests done before she finds the correct “client”, but if the DNA matches, that “client” would be named as the child’s legal father. She would also be eligible to receive child support according to the state’s guidelines.

    The courts do not punish the CHILD just because the parents were breaking the law when he or she was conceived.

    The only exception to this is if the child is conceived during the commission of a crime AND one of the parents was the victim of said crime AND the other parent is the perpetrator of said crime, as in cases of rape. Even then, the court CAN establish paternity and order visitation and/or child support. However, this RARELY happens and I haven’t heard of a case such as this in several years.

    How the kid is conceived doesn’t matter.
