MY PARTNERS EX GIRLFRIEND has a child claiming its his but she was sleeping with his friend,my partner is 95% sure he is not the father as he had been living and working in america,came back and within a few weeks anounced she was pregnant but then discoverd she had been sleeping with his friend while he was away.......i no there is always a possibility but it makes me mad when she demands money monthly and it may not be his child!.....
any help thanks x
a dna test through the child support agency will cost approx £350.....which we would have to pay.....and at the moment we dont have as my partner is self employed with no work on.

Yes! Get it tested… don’t use the free ones, they will not hold up in court if needs be. Get a proper one, its worth the money, after that, no law can hold you back!
whats the worse that can happen? it is his child, and you continue to pay
but at least you tried and have a chance of gettin rid of her!!
ps: to approach the ex girlfriend, tips:
NEVER be the first one to raise your voice… if she does, it makes her look bad. You have to be the responsible mature one here.
2) you say you can either do it the nice way, or the bad way – which involves officials/courts/police/doctor whoever it is, to take part in order to know you’re not being lied to.
3) if she is SO SURE that he’s the father, then she shouldn’t have a problem with it.
4) if she says no, say you won’t pay until you have physical firm evidence dna in your hand.

I ordered a Paternity test online…I think it was Genetix or something and it worked just fine. They are trustworthy but I think it states there that they cannot be used for court purposes. But all you need is the papers with the results when they mail it to you to show he and the child swabbed and here are the results. She can have a look at that and take a walk. Not to mention if she is not letting him see the child and there is no court order then he does not have to pay for that child. I would go and get some papers filed and settle this in court…but first see what the DNA test says and maybe with different tests they are admissable in court so good luck with your battle and the tests you find online are just fine…make sure you shop around though.

I’m sorry you guys are going through this. If there is a small chance that the child is his..not a big chance… I would suggest to you guys that you conduct this through the child support offices. I don’t know how it is where you live, but here in the states… If she files for child support and he is not the father..SHE has to be the one to pay the fee for it.
I would NOT be paying any money for a child that you don’t know for shure if it is his or not, and if she is denying him the right to see her but yet is demanding payments….chances are he is not the father, she just wants some money.
I would straight out tell her that if she wants to get child support for the child then she is going to have to have a DNA test ordered and go through the court systems. The DNA test that you are speaking of is not admissable in court anywase, which means if he wants to take her to court to see the child he will have to get a “normal” one done anywase.
I strongly recommed you do this the “legal” way that way if he IS the father, he will be able to request that he has contact with the child.
If SHE will not request through the courts for a parternity test then HE may do so. What state does he live in, i could look up how child support is dealt with and also custody if it is an international case.
